I'll pretend the title says "Fellow Travelers."
Everyone listed in the bio area, as well as everyone whom I have loved and whom has loved me. Thanks you for the lessons and for being part of shaping me. "Ouch" was every bit as good as "moan."
"AMERICAN TOY BOY" - A song I produced and co-wrote with "THE ETCH A SKETCH MAN" (Christoph Brown) - he created this video as a story of his life - coming soon as a full length musical, a la "TOMMY":

Listening again to the difference between Tara's & Clay Aiken's interpretations of your GREAT song, "Forget I Ever Knew You." Tara's is intimate, wistful, quietly brave, as if the singer is convincing herself step by step how to get back on her feet
while Clay's begins reflectively, gains momentum with the driving rock groove, then builds into a real anthem of survival with that beautiful, soaring bridge line climaxing in a triumphant long, pure glory note: "I'm doing fine with you out of my LIIIIFE!"
Wow, what an emotional punch!
His triumphant final chorus tells the listener that the one who has loved & lost has learned how to love himself enough to make a successful new start - & NOTHING will stop him from going forward!
(Love the little sexy growl tag in the last "forget I ever knew you."
Cool!)
And how interesting that you wrote a song that could have such different - and emotionally truthful - interpretations.
As a songwriter, it must be extremely gratifying to compare artists' very different interpretations of your work - and it's the mark of a terrific songwriter that one song can invite many different interpretations and mean so many things to each listener.
Superb work! (Guess you can tell I am addicted to that particular song - my favorite on Clay Aiken's very good new album. )
