Hello Greg! Wow -- we have a lot in common! I was raised to Canadian parents (my father is from Windsor, Ontario ... my mother from Kingston, Ontario) but I was raised in Motown Detroit. When people ask me where I grew up I'll answer, "401" (as in Hwy 401) as we constantly traveled to our summer cottages on Lake Erie and Grippen Lake (just up Hwy 15 towards Ottawa). My whole family attended Queen's University majoring in either music or medicine (4 generations). My father was the #1 Boy Soprano in Canada singing for Queen Elizabeth at the Toronto Exhibition from age 8-15. His radio show, "The Bill Fellows Hour" aired bi-weekly from Windsor to Montreal (from 1949-1955) and these endeavors put him through medical school. So, let's just say I inherited the "gene". I sing with Lavon Stevens in our CrossRoads casual church service at First Presbyterian Church as a soprano (although I was trained to sing alto). I am presently taking guitar lessons from my Coach Jevon Daly and LOVE them. I welcome the opportunity to meet you in person. My brother, Lindsay Fellows, lives in LA and had his first band at age 16. He has remained in the music industry as a major motion picture supervisor for the likes of Disney, Miramax, Universal -- produced all the soundtracks for the Chronicles of Naria movies (with C.S. Lewis's family) and Ray (with Ray Charles son). He was actually able to show Ray the first raw cut of the movie just months before he passed away. Lindsay credits are too numerous to mention. My daughter, Lauren (24) has a degree in Film and is living in LA trying to break into the industry (only you know how difficult this is). Lauren is a multi-tasking, personality-reading, singing and dancing artist. She has worked for Pop 2 Life on many occasions (they are based just outside LA and NYC). Debbie Williams (of LA -- a stage manager and stage director, presently working for American Idol) recently hired Lauren to work the AMA's and Golden Globes. She has worked the CMA Festival the last 3 years. Who knows ... maybe my brother and she should move back here and work WITH YOU! I am most interested in your in-house band and would be happy to sing for you anytime. I am 57 years old with 4 grown children and singing is high on my list of passions ... always has been. I am truly thrilled to realize that someone of your caliber is just around the corner! My email is: susie.oliver.hhi@gmail.com. Cell: (843)816-0220 and Land line/Home is: (843)842-3492. Congratulations and welcome to "the neighborhood" Greg! Thank you for bringing LA, Nashville and New York to this beautiful Island. Finally! With confidence and joy, Susie.
